Who we are
Inglewood Homestead is a boutique holiday home available to book for exclusive use. Our website address is: https://www.inglewoodhomestead.co.nz.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Inglewood Homestead is only available for single party reservations at any given time, guaranteeing exclusivity, regardless of the number guests staying or suites needed.
Arrival & Departure
Check in time is from 3pm and check out time is by 11am.
Alternative arrangements can be discussed with the hosts. Late departures that have not been previously arranged may incur an additional charge.
General Terms
- Parties and events are not permitted unless the homestead has been specifically booked for an event.
- Pets are not permitted.
- We have a strict no-smoking policy. If smoking activity is discovered we reserve the right to charge the guests for additional costs that result from specialist cleaning.
- Two night minimum stay.
Children
We welcome families travelling with children. It is the parent/caregiver’s responsibility to supervise children at all times while staying at the homestead, particularly with regards to the swimming pool (which is fully fenced), the water fountain (which is not fenced), and the main road, as the property itself is not fully fenced.
Infants under 2 years of age are free of charge and do not count towards the total guest count. Children aged 2-12 years are counted and charged as a full guest.
A portacot is available on request.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation charge may apply if you cancel your reservation.
We provide free cancellation up until 5 days prior to arrival.
After that you will receive a 50% refund, minus the first night and a service fee.
COVID-19
Should a cancellation be made as a direct result of COVID-19 related lock down restrictions, a full refund will be provided.
Damage, Breakages & Loss
Any damage/breakage/loss to the Homestead and/or the surrounding property must be reported to the hosts immediately. Damage/breakage/loss caused to the property or furnishings during your stay could result in costs of repair and/or replacement (including any insurance excess) being charged directly, either fully or partly, to you as the registered guest.
Should the Homestead be left in an unsatisfactory state following the departure of the guest, the registered guest will be charged a cleaning fee. This may include, but is not limited to, excessive rubbish, excessive uncleanliness, mess or odour, any unhygienic uncleanliness and/or misuse of the Homestead property, including linen. The evaluation of the Homestead’s condition following guest departure and/or factors contributing to an unsatisfactory state shall be deemed at the sole discretion of the Homestead.
Errors & Omissions
Please ensure the accuracy of all information provided/entered during the reservation process, and all information provided by you will be assumed to be correct and final. Any errors or omissions will be the responsibility of the person providing the information.
Inglewood Homestead will not be responsible or liable for any errors or omissions in the reservation information provided. You must ensure that you check all details at the time of reservation.
Liability Policy
Inglewood Homestead is responsible for providing the services stated in the guests’ reservation confirmation, and according to our terms and conditions. We do not accept any liability for failure to provide the services contracted or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Inglewood Homestead will not be responsible for any eventualities related to any activities performed on the property For example loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuable belongings.

Inglewood Homestead is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We will endeavour to protect your privacy and use technology that provides a secure online experience. When a reservation is made we require certain personal information so we can provide the requested services to you. We will only use your personal information when it is necessary for us to deliver you a service or perform other necessary business functions and activities.
In order to make a booking with us you may use third party booking platforms or websites, such as Airbnb. These terms and policies do not cover how they handle bookings and personal information, and relate to our own website. Please read their privacy policies as well.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When a reservation is made we ask for information that personally identifies who you are and allows us to contact you. This information is generally requested when you make an accommodation or event booking via our website or via another third party booking service such as Airbnb.
Personal information collected includes email address, full name, address, country, phone number, and billing information including a credit card.
If you contact us we may also keep a record of your correspondence with us.
Use of your personal information
Your personal information is required to secure a booing with the Homestead. We use your personal information to make contact with you regarding your booking, communicate with you regarding your transaction, and may also inform you of new information or services from Inglewood Homestead that may be of interest to you.
Sharing your personal information
Inglewood Homestead will not share your personal information with third parties without your permission, with the following exceptions.
We will only disclose your personal information, without notice, if:
- you have consented to the disclosure
- you would reasonably expect, or have been told (by this Policy or by other means), that your information is passed to those individuals or businesses (for example Airbnb through a booking service); or
- if required to do so or authorised by law, or in good faith or belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process served on The Homestead, to protect or defend our rights or property, or act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of guests and other users of Inglewood Homestead, its site, or the public.

Our website is built on the WordPress platform and hosted with SiteHost in New Zealand. Your data may be stored through WordPress and SiteHost data storage, databases and plugins, or third party booking services used such as Airbnb. Any personal information that you provide on the website will be stored on their secure servers behind a firewall, and we have secure certificates on the website that protect your data.
